More Burglaries in Hilton
On Monday 11th January 2010 there was a burglary and an attempted distraction burglary in Hilton.
At approx 10:30 a male went to the address in Church Lane of an elderly lady. She answered the door and the male wanted to check her insulation. The lady didn’t let him in as he did not have the relevant password which she had arranged with the insulation company who had already completed work in her home. The male was wearing green overalls. He continued to ask her if she had ladders so he could get onto the roof. The lady said no and closed the door on him.
At approx 18:20 a burglary was reported to police in New England where the property had been entered and an untidy search had taken place. Jewellery has been looked at and cameras have been taken.
