Traffic Problems

Lorries produce noise, pollution, vibration and damage to the buildings close by and pose the risk of great damage to life and property in the event of an accident.

Many vehicles are consistently and frequently exceeding the 30 mph speed limits, with no consequences to the drivers.  Police enforcement is rare and speed checks are not set up at north and south of village where speed tends to be greatest.

Large numbers of cars commute through Hilton early morning and late afternoon.
