A14 Public Consultation Exhibition |
A14 Public Consultation Exhibition2pm to 9pm, Friday 8th December 2006 in Hilton Village Hall The Highways Agency will mount a further Exhibition on the A14 upgrade in Hilton on Friday 8 December in the Village Hall between 2pm and 8pm. The Exhibition will show the possible routes and the outline technical features of the new road. The A14 Action Group believes that the new road will have a significant impact on this village, impacts that will be with us for generations. These include, noise, through-traffic, flood risk and more. However, we can influence the extent to which we will be affected by letting the Highways Agency know how we feel and pressing them to improve the design. We will need to do this in writing, even if you wrote in last time. The A14 Action Group urges residents to come to the exhibition and find out the facts. If you don’t like what you see then tell the Highways Agency what bothers you. If we don’t tell them at this stage, then we will not be able to have much impact on the design at a future date. In short, we can make a difference but we all need to work together to get the best result for our Village. Please come to the Exhibition, make your voices heard and support your Action Group.
