Results of Traffic Survey

On 12 July 2006, under the sponsorship of the Parish Council, residents of Hilton undertook a census of the traffic using the B1040 through the village.  The summary of the count is shown on the graphs below.  Additional counts will be undertaken over the coming months in order to check whether the 12 July survey was realistic and also, again following the opening of the Papworth Bypass in an attempt to judge the impact of that road scheme on Hilton.
