Hilton Wildlife Conservation Group Newsletter We were very lucky with Nightingales and the weather when a group of us visited Paxton Pits Nature Reserve on 26th April. We heard and saw Nightingales, and a host of other birds were pointed out to us including a Hobby by Jim: Senior Warden and Trevor: one of the reserve’s many volunteers. Although we did not actually see an otter we saw evidence of where they had been. Paxton Pits is well worth a visit anytime of the year. Do hope that you can join us at either or both of our June activities. At Roland’s walk he will be showing us how farmers are meeting their obligations to the environment as described by Ian in March. Michael’s walk will help us identify some of the 99 plant species which were found during our Grassland Survey, June 2003. Future Events Sunday 4th June
