On 4th June, strange, but familiar faces appeared through the long grass around the Green.
Great Staughton had sent a task force to seek the glory they thought had previously been denied them by the rain. They elected to take the willow, but a new ball in Adi’s hands is a fearsome weapon. He slew six of the enemy for just 15 runs in only 11 overs. The visitors managed 61 runs between them. In reaching their target, only three Hilton men fell. Tuddy blasted 24 from just eight strokes of his trusty blade.
